Lickety Split is celebrating what it means to be proudly Bahamian by bringing back our annual Bahama Pride Promotion, and we want to invite your little ones to join in on the fun!
For the entire month of July, children 10 years old and younger can visit any Lickety Split location, recite the Bahamian Pledge of Allegiance from memory, and receive a Bahama Pride ice cream cone for just $1, with a small Bahamian flag! Bring your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or any child 10 years of age or younger!
Once they've successfully recited the pledge, they'll receive:
● A $1 cone with our colourful Bahama Pride ice cream
● A small Bahamian flag to wave with pride
Don’t know the pledge from memory yet? No worries! Children who may not know the pledge will be given a printed copy of the Pledge of Allegiance to practice, and can come back and try again for the month of July!
We encourage families to practice together before visiting:
“I pledge my allegiance to the flag, and to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas for which it stands, one people united in love and service.”
We are proud to continue this annual tradition that celebrates patriotism, family, and community. Whether it's your child's first time learning the pledge or they've participated in years past, we can't wait to celebrate with you.
